A FUTURE FOR OUR PEOPLE!

WHO WE ARE

The Bittereinders is a pragmatic movement established to serve the Afrikaner/Boer community. Our mission is to restore the lost identity, sense of community, and brotherhood of our generation. We achieve this by mobilizing and coordinating our people to stand against social, economic, and racial discrimination. Together, we will rebuild our language, culture, and heritage.

MISSION

We do. We fight for our people, schools and institutions at ground level. We are unashamedly Boer/Afrikaner. We mobilize and coordinate communities in or against mass actions. In simple terms, we are an activist movement but at the same time so much more. We aim to be ready at all times to oppose actions of the EFF, ANC and SANCO. To help our young men become resilient. To help our young people to revive their sense of Nation, faith, identity and make them proud again of who and what we are. We also help the defenseless and poor of our Nation through charity.

Help us prosecute the “Moer a Boer” counselor.

WHAT WE DO

The Bittereinders is a pragmatic movement established to serve the Afrikaner/Boer community. Our mission is to restore the lost identity, sense of community, and brotherhood of our generation. We achieve this by mobilizing and coordinating our people to stand against social, economic, and racial discrimination. Together, we will rebuild our language, culture, and heritage.

Francois van der Merwe,

Born on October 19, 1998, in Pretoria, is the director of the Bittereinders. The founding of this organization was inspired by the tragic farm murder of Brendan Horner. Following the protests in Senekal, Francois realized there was a significant gap in the national struggle for young, right-minded men. The Bittereinders was established to address this gap.

Driven by a clear and unwavering vision, Francois is exclusively committed to Boer-Afrikaner interests. He believes that we, as a people, should not be ashamed to stand up solely for our own, asserting that this is the most natural thing to do. Francois advocates for self-reliance, the creation of a sovereign Volkstaat, the preservation of Afrikaner cultural heritage, language, and lifestyle, as well as the protection of our faith.

Since the inception of the Bittereinders in 2021, he has been actively involved and often led various protests and counter-protests against the EFF, ANC, and other parties. Earlier this year, Francois was detained for four weeks following the legal Groblersdal protest. While many would withdraw after such an incident, Francois feels more committed than ever to continue the fight. During challenging times, such as his arrest, he often repeats the words "Soet is die Stryd" ("Sweet is the Struggle") from the well-known poem by I.D. du Plessis.

His deep-rooted love for our people and our culture drives his unwavering commitment to the cause, establishing him as a prominent figure in the ongoing struggle to promote Boer-Afrikaner rights and cultural identity.
